The Toronto Blueprint is published from Ontario, Canada. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

  • Your email address, when you subscribe. That is the only thing the signup form asks for. We send a confirmation email first, and you are not subscribed until you confirm.
  • Email activity. Our email provider records whether newsletters are delivered, opened and clicked, so we can tell whether the newsletter is working.
  • Basic technical information when you visit the website, such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider and the services below receive when a page loads.

Services we use

  • MailerLite sends the newsletter and stores subscriber information on our behalf.
  • Hostinger hosts the website.
  • Buzzsprout hosts the podcast and provides the player on each issue page.
  • Google Fonts supplies the website’s typefaces, so Google receives a request when a page loads.

These services may set cookies or similar technologies to operate.

How we use it

We use your email address only to send The Toronto Blueprint. We do not sell or rent it, and we do not share it except with the services above, which act for us.

Your choices

Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email editor@torontoblueprint.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
